I just wanted to throw out a short post (and link) to GirlMeetsFood as she recently submitted a recipe for a Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake from Ripple in the DC area. I for one am a huge fan of Hazelnut: Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, Kinder Buenos…the combination of chocolate and hazelnut is simply divine!
I haven’t physically made this dish yet, but it sounds too scrumptious not to pass it along. It sounds like a fairly complicated recipe with all the many steps, but I’m sure it must be heaven as it is used as a dessert at a restaurant and noted by a distinctive food blogger. For all you expert bakers out there (like Miss Shanna Ward), definitely let me know your take if you decide to go through and undertake this huge endeavor. While I am holed up due to the ice-storm here in the South, I will have to make do with my Trader Joe’s berry scone simple mix. 😦
